Hello. Welcome to my about me page of my Professional Website. This used to be written in third person but a therapist once told me to practice being more direct so here I am. My name is Arti Gollapudi. I am a Jersey-born Brooklyn-based comedian and writer who has a bachelor of music from Berklee College of Music and a masters of arts in Performance studies from NYU Tisch. I have been featured in many places primarily for using comedy as a tool to open up dialogue about personal identity, trauma, and, most importantly, farts.
You can find all that junk here. You can also find my comedic poetry here.
I teach writing workshops with Squirrel Theater, if you are looking to find a way write FUNNY autobiographical stories this is a workshop for you. If not then I can’t help ya there, brother.
Along with teaching, writing, and performing I run a small teeny mutual aid project called Free Books for All where I help facilitate the dissemination of free books (primarily to BIPOC in the Brooklyn area) through FREE book fairs.
Feel free to contact me with any inquiries but please refrain from being a total creep. and be patient with me as I work several jobs and am slow with email (I’m 100)
Anyways, you can catch me at a show, catch me online, but good luck holding me down! xoxo
